Marko Simeunovič (born December 6, 1967 in Maribor , SFR Yugoslavia , today Slovenia ) is a former Slovenian football player in the position of goalkeeper .

From 1999 to 2002 he played for NK Maribor . In 2002 he moved to Olympiacos Nicosia , where he played until 2005. This was followed by a year at AEL Limassol . From 2006 he played for a year at Interblock Ljubljana . He then ended his career at the age of almost 40. He played 57 times for the Slovenian national team .

He has been a UNICEF ambassador for Slovenia since 2002 .
