from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Markus Brautsch (* 1971 in Freystadt ) is a German physicist and university professor .

Life

Brautsch grew up in Herrnsberg in Middle Franconia . After completing secondary school, he attended the technical college in Weißenburg . He then studied technical physics in Munich and Erlangen . He did his doctorate at the chair for electrical energy technology and rational energy conversion under Professor Jürgen Schmid at the University of Kassel . Since 1998 he has been teaching as professor for technical thermodynamics, energy efficiency, renewable energies at the then newly founded East Bavarian Technical University (OTH) Amberg-Weiden . On October 8, 2014, he was appointed visiting professor at Jiangsu University .

Since 2001 he has been a professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Environmental Engineering at the OTH Amberg-Weiden. In addition, since it was founded in 2009, he has headed the Institute for Energy Technology, which deals with the use of combined heat and power , and since 2012 the CHP competence center at the OTH Amberg-Weiden.

Since 1983 he has been a participant in TV Thalmässing in the district of Roth.
