Markus Nüssli (born July 9, 1971 ) is a former Swiss bobsleigh driver from Berg TG .
Career
Bobsleigh
Nüssli, who started for the St. Moritz bobsleigh club , won his first international medal at the 1997 European Bobsleigh Championships in Königssee . As a newcomer to Marcel Rohner's four-man bobsleigh , he won the silver medal behind Christoph Langen's bobsleigh and ahead of Wolfgang Hoppe's . At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, he won the silver medal for Switzerland in the four-man bobsleigh with Marcel Rohner, Markus Wasser and Beat Seitz . A year later he also won silver in the four-man bobsleigh at the 1999 European Bobsleigh Championships in Winterberg. In the same year he won the silver medal at the Bobsleigh World Championship in Cortina d'Ampezzo together with Marcel Rohner, Beat Hefti and Silvio Schaufelberger .

Nüssli was active as a gymnast in the STV Berg . Even after his active bobsleigh career, he still actively participated in competitions and gymnastics events.
