Markus Tremmel

Markus Tremmel (* 1968 ) is a German journalist , moderator and publisher .

Tremmel studied theology, Slavic and political science and obtained a master's degree. In the mid-1990s, he completed a traineeship as a journalist at Dorfener Anzeiger. He has been working as a reporter and presenter for Bayerischer Rundfunk since around 1997 : he was a reporter initially for Bayern 1 , later he became a presenter for folk music on Bayern 1 and presenter of the BR home mirror on Bayern 2 , which is now also on Bayern plus and now broadcast on BR Heimat . Since 2012 he has presented the show Musi und Gsang im Wirtshaus on BR TV .

Tremmel is also one of the three founders of the small publisher via verbis bavarica, which is based in Taufkirchen and mainly publishes books related to Bavaria. In 2007 he founded the journal Bayerische Archäologie, for which he also wrote numerous articles. The magazine is now published (as of 2014) by the Friedrich Pustet publishing house in Regensburg.

Tremmel lives in Wambach , a district of Taufkirchen in the district of Erding .
