Bayern plus - formerly known as Bayern + in digital radio - is a radio program of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation that is broadcast 24 hours a day digitally (especially DAB + ). The frequencies of this program was to 1 September 2008 , the program Bayern mobile broadcast. Bayern plus has been broadcasting from Studio Franken in Nuremberg since February 2, 2015 , making it the first full BR program from the regional studio that can be heard across Bavaria.

Bayern plus is a wave of music and service for an older target group; According to the station, the musical focus is on German-language hits . In the first few years, formats with alpine folk music from Bavaria, Austria and Switzerland as well as instrumental music were also broadcast. These folk music, brass band and amateur music programs can be heard on the digital radio station BR Heimat since February 2, 2015 . Daily magazines with current topics and tips are broadcast Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. On Saturdays, the service broadcast runs between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. and on Sundays between 12 a.m. and 3 p.m.

On January 11, 2013, the broadcaster included Die deutsche Schlagerparade with Harry Blaha and the show stage with Wolfgang Aschenbrenner from Bayern 1 , which are broadcast on Fridays between 7 and 10 p.m. These programs are also taken over in parallel on MDR Schlagerwelt .

The German hit parade will also be repeated on Saturday at 12 noon.

Every day from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., BR and MDR's Schlagernacht , a joint program with MDR Schlagerwelt, runs. During this time, the news will be taken over by MDR Aktuell , which will be produced from 11 p.m. for the whole of Germany as part of the ARD info night .
