Marlon David Jackson (born March 12, 1957 in Gary , Indiana , United States ) is an American singer and musician and member of the Jackson Five .

biography

Marlon Jackson is the son of Joseph and Katherine Jackson and the brother of Michael Jackson . His twin brother, Brandon, died a few hours after the two were born prematurely. Jackson has been married to Carol Ann Parker since 1975, with whom he has three children: Valencia, Brittany and Marlon.

He played supporting roles in the films Nell and Student Confidential and in 1986 contributed the song (Let Your Love Find) The Chosen One to the soundtrack of the film In Search of the Golden Child .

In 1987 he recorded the solo album Baby Tonight , the first release of which, Don't Go, reached number 2 on the Billboard R&B charts. The album went to number 22 and 175 on the Billboard 200 . The album's title track was released as the second single and rose to number 57 on the R&B charts.

Since 2002 Marlon Jackson has been a member of the board of the cable broadcaster MBC (Black Family Channel).
