Marquinhos (born October 21, 1982 in São Caetano do Sul ; actually: Marcos Roberto da Silva Barbosa ) is a Brazilian football player .

Marquinhos began his career in the Corinthians youth . There he was appointed to the first team after just one year and played for three years. In 2005 Corinthians loaned him to Atlético Mineiro , for whom he played seven games. Back at Corinthians, he did not come to any use and moved to Turkey to the first division club Çaykur Rizespor . Marquinhos played eight games at the Black Sea Club in the 2007/08 season . Despite his few appearances, he was committed by Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor .
