Marta Jeschke (born June 2, 1986 in Wejherowo ) is a Polish athlete who won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 2010 with the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay .

Athletic career

In 2005, the Polish relay team with Agnieszka Ceglarek, Marika Popowicz , Marta Jeschke and Iwona Brzezinska won the gold medal at the European Junior Championships. At the 2007 World Championships Jeschke took eighth place with the Polish relay. The following year, Jeschke retired from the 2008 Olympic Games in the 200 meter run . With the Polish relay she qualified for the finals; Jeschke was not used in the finals, her teammates were disqualified because they exceeded the change mark.

In 2009 Jeschke won the silver medal at the Universiade with the Polish relay team . At the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona , Jeschke was eliminated in the semi-finals over 200 meters; the Polish relay with Marika Popowicz, Daria Korczyńska , Marta Jeschke and Weronika Wedler won the bronze medal behind the relay from Ukraine and France.

Jeschke is 1.66 m tall and has a competition weight of 51 kg.
