Marta Hejma
Marta Hejma , née Lužová (born June 27, 1947 in Zlín , Czechoslovakia ) is a former German table tennis player . She is European champion in doubles and mixed and won the German championship once .
biography
For Czechoslovakia, the 1.56 m wide Hejma took under her birth name Lužová at three world championships ( World Cup 1963 , World Cup 1965 , World Cup 1967 ) and three European Championships in part. Here she won the mixed title together with Vladimír Miko in London in 1966 . In 1968 in Lyon she won the double competition with Jitka Karlíková . She took second place at an EM in 1964 in mixed with Vladimir Miko and in 1966 in women's doubles with Irena Mikócziová .
She won the championship of Czechoslovakia five times (1962, 1964, 1965, 1967, 1968), with Sparta Prague she was team champion several times (1965, 1966). In 1965 and 1966 she took first place in the CSSR ranking.
In 1968 she married the ice hockey player Petr Hejma . He used a guest performance from Prague in Düsseldorf in September 1968 to avoid returning home. Shortly afterwards, Marta Hejma was allowed to leave for Germany.
Marta Hejma joined the Duisburg club DSC Kaiserberg and acquired German citizenship. 1970 son Petr junior was born, who like his father became an ice hockey player. The family lives in Hilden.
In 1971 Hejma won the German championship in singles in Hanover and in mixed with Karl-Heinz Scholl . In the same year she competed for Germany at the World Cup , but only in the individual competitions. In 1969, 1971 and 1972 she took first place in the national ranking tournament DTTB-Top-12 . With the DSC Kaiserberg club, she won the German championship four times from 1969 to 1972 and the German women's cup championship in 1971 and 1972. In 1971 the team won the European competition "Nancy Evans Cup" .
In 1984 she joined the club DJK Blau-Weiß Hilden and played in the association league.
