Marten Franke (born September 13, 1995 in Minden ) is a German handball and beach handball player who is currently playing for ASV Hamm-Westphalia . It is mainly used in the right winger position.

He is not the DHB 's beach handball trainer of the same name .

Career

Indoor handball

In 2008, Franke moved from TuS Lahde-Quetzen to the C-youth team at GWD Minden , where he later played in the A-youth division and for the second team in the third division . From December 2014 he was also my second game right for the second division club VfL Bad Schwartau active, to which he for season 2015/16 changed completely. In December 2016 he joined TV Emsdetten . He has been playing for ASV Hamm-Westfalen since the 2018/19 season .

Beach handball

Franke has been playing for the Havana Beach Club in Minden since 2013 and was also a member of the German national beach handball team for the 2015 European Championship in Lloret de Mar ( Spain ). At the tournament he suffered a double cruciate ligament tear .
