Martians - An alien Hazzard (Original title: Spaced Invaders ) is an American science fiction - comedy from 1990. The film opened on 14 February 1991 in the German cinemas.

The Martians are at war with a hostile alien world. A Martian patrol ship receives an incomplete radio call from the Martian fleet and then an excerpt from Orson Welles ' radio play War of the Worlds , which is broadcast on a radio station from Earth. The incompetent crew of the patrol ship mistakenly believe that Mars would invade Earth and land on Earth in the American town of Big Bean , where they crash-land in a barn. In Big Bean, however, the Martians are not taken seriously because they arrive on Halloween and, with their small stature and their dependent behavior, look like children in disguise. However, they find an ally in young Kathy who enables them to return to Mars.

The space travelers immediately believe they are in the middle of an intergalactic battle. They fly to earth. But in Big Bean the five green monsters are not noticed at all ... Welles' radio play caused hysteria among Americans in 1940. The grotesque basic idea of the film unfortunately fizzles out under mercilessly silly dialogues. "
