Martin Bettinger

Martin Bettinger (* 1957 in Neunkirchen / Saar ) is a German writer .

Life

Bettinger studied philosophy and German for teaching at grammar schools in Saarbrücken and Freiburg im Breisgau . After completing his legal clerkship, he retired from school and temporarily worked as a roofer assistant. Bettinger published several novels, short stories, short stories and a volume of poetry between 1986 and 2014. Bettinger has lived as a freelance writer in Saarbrücken since 1989 and in Berlin from 2001. Between 1994 and 2006 he stayed regularly for long periods of time writing in New Zealand . Martin Bettinger has been living in Saarland again since 2006. He is now also active as a mountain and ski guide as well as in adventure education. Bettinger describes “books and mountains” as his great interests. His books have been published by Fischer , Econ & List and the independent publishers Gollenstein and Conte .
