Martin Bruness

Martin Bruness (born May 11, 1911 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf ; † July 12, 1996 in Landshut ) was a German lawyer. From 1968 to 1975 he was an armed forces disciplinary attorney .

Life

Bruness was born the son of a teacher and his wife. After graduating from the reform grammar school in Wilmersdorf in 1929, he studied law at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin and the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg . In 1932 he passed the first state examination in law and in 1933 did his preparatory service in Berlin. With a doctoral thesis with Fritz Pringsheim , he was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. In the 1950s he worked in the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMVg). In the committee of inquiry into the Fibag affair , he was one of the representatives of the BMVg. He was then from 1968 to 1975 a military disciplinary attorney at the Federal Administrative Court.
