Peter Wolf (lawyer)

Peter Wolf (born August 26, 1934 in Oschatz ) is a German lawyer . From 1993 to 1999 he was an armed forces disciplinary attorney .

Life

Wolf left the GDR in 1951 . He studied law at the universities of Freiburg im Breisgau, Munich and Marburg and passed the first state examination in 1960 and the second in 1965 .

From 1966 to 1970 he was legal advisor and military disciplinary attorney for the 7th Panzer Grenadier Division . In 1970 he became a consultant in the personnel department at the Federal Ministry of Defense in Bonn. In 1974/75 he was head of the personnel affairs division and from 1975 to 1980 head of the principle division at the German Bundestag's defense commissioner . From 1980 to 1983 he was head of division and legal advisor to the inspector of the army and from 1983 to 1993 the inspector general of the Bundeswehr . From 1993 to 1999 he acted as a Bundeswehr disciplinary attorney at the Federal Administrative Court in Munich .

From 2000 to 2003 he worked in political consulting in Eastern Europe.

He is married and has one child.
