Martin Olaf Hagen (born October 3, 1954 in Jackson Hole , Wyoming ) is a former American biathlete .

Hagen was national junior champion in biathlon between 1973 and 1975 and already competed for the national team at junior age. In 1976 he took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck . In the individual race over 20 kilometers, he finished 47th. Four years later, at the Olympic Winter Games in 1980 in Lake Placid , he improved in the individual race at No. 36. In the relay competition over four times 7.5 kilometers, he finished with his teammates Lyle Nelson , Donald Nielsen Jr. and Peter Hoag Jr. Rank 8 At his third Olympic Winter Games in Sarajevo in 1984 , he was 53rd in an individual competition.

Hagen graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in science in 1978 . He later worked as a river guide, sculptor and musician.
