Martin Kluger (born January 12, 1957 in Donauwörth ) is a German non-fiction author and co-founder and director of context Verlag Augsburg .

Life

Kluger is a publishing clerk and studied business administration at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences . After graduating, he worked for a management consultancy for Catholic publishers, the Augsburger Allgemeine Zeitung and a magazine publisher. In 1992 he and his colleagues founded an advertising agency and a press office, from which context medien und verlag GbR emerged in 2006 . Kluger has been a non-fiction author since 2002.

Cleverly written city travel guides, cultural travel guides and illustrated books on the cities of Augsburg , Ulm and Nuremberg , the UNESCO World Heritage Site Regensburg and the Bavarian and Baden-Württemberg Swabians. He sat down in a number of publications on the theme of Fugger apart and also designed the redesign and expansion of the Augsburg Fuggereimuseums (2006) and the design of the show apartment in the Fuggerei (2007) and the Museum in the World War bunker in the Fuggerei (2008). In 2008 he was also involved in the conception and design of the Lech Museum Bavaria in Langweid.

Since 2012, Kluger has accompanied the application of the city of Augsburg for the UNESCO World Heritage title for the Augsburg water management system as an author .
