Martin Stamper (born August 21, 1986 in Liverpool ) is a British Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 68 kilograms.

Stamper joined a taekwondo club at the age of six. He is training at the Manchester Performance Center today. He celebrated his first international success at the 2001 European Junior Championships in Pamplona , where he won the silver medal. In the adult division, he played his first title fights in 2005, but retired early at the World Cup in Madrid and the European Championship in Riga . Stamper was able to reach the final at the European Championships in Rome in 2008 , still starting in the weight class up to 62 kilograms, where he lost to Levent Tuncat and won silver. At the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju , he reached the semi-finals, which he lost to Servet Tazegül and also won his first World Cup medal with bronze. Stamper won another bronze medal at the European Home Championships in Manchester.

The British Association claimed a starting place in Stamper's weight class for the 2012 Olympic Games in London . He was officially nominated in June 2012. Two months later, he finished fifth in the Olympic tournament after losing to Rohullah Nikpai in the battle for the bronze medal .
