Martin Toschew (also written Martin Toshev , Bulgarian Мартин Тошев ; born August 15, 1990 in Sofia , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian football player . He is a fast player who can play both right winger and second striker.
Career
Martin Toschew started his career in the youth team of CSKA Sofia . In January 2008 Toschew went to Germany, where he trained in the youth academy of 1. FC Cologne and also played two games. Nevertheless, Toshhev returned to Bulgaria after six months and signed his first professional three-year contract with CSKA Sofia.
On December 6, 2008 Toshev scored his first goals for the "Army Club" in the round of 16 of the Bulgarian Cup against PFC Balkan Botevgrad . Toshev moved after the end of the 2008/09 season to the Bulgarian first division club FC Chernomorets Burgas for 100,000 euros. On August 17, 2009 Toshev made his debut for the team from Burgas in the home game against Lokomotive Plovdiv , which ended with a 2-1 home win. During the winter break of the 2011/12 season, his contract with the club from Burgas was canceled and he moved to Slavia Sofia on a free transfer and a year later to FC Septemwri Simitli .
In the 2014/15 season he played for Pirin Blagoevgrad . He scored 16 goals in 49 league games there in the first and second Bulgarian leagues.
For the 2016/17 season Toschew moved to the German second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue . In January 2017 Toschew was for the second round to third division side VfR Aalen borrowed. In the summer, he moved back to his home country to the first division club PFC Septemwri Sofia . Here he scored eleven goals in 32 games and ended up in 8th place with the club.
But in summer 2018 he moved on to the reigning Lebanese champion al Ahed . With the club he was able to defend the title in the following season and Toshev contributed ten goals, which meant third place in the goalscorer list.
