Martin Zahuranec (born March 25, 1986 ) is a former Slovak football player .
Career
Zahuranec came in 2000 from FK NOVES Spišská Nová Ves to Austria in the youth of SV Horn and also played in the BNZ St. Pölten . In 2005 he moved to the regional league team Kremser SC . In August 2005 he made his debut in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Peter Bugár on the third day of the 2005/06 season against SC Zwettl in the 90th minute . He scored his first goal in the Regionalliga in March 2006 in a 2-2 draw against SKN St. Pölten .
For the 2006/07 season he moved to league rivals SC Zwettl. In his two years at Zwettl, he played 43 games in the regional league and scored two goals. In 2008 Zahuranec joined the SV Würmla . Half a year and 13 regional league appearances later, he returned to Zwettl in January 2009. In the summer of 2009 he left the club again.
After half a year without a club, he moved to SC Zwettl for the third time in January 2010. For the club he scored three goals in ten games in the second half of the 2009/10 season. With Zwettl, however, he had to relegate from the regional league at the end of the season as bottom of the table.
He then moved to the fourth-class SV Stockerau for the 2010/11 season . For Stockerau he completed 23 games in the regional league that season and scored six goals. After a season at Stockerau, he moved to league rivals ASK Kottingbrunn in 2011 . In the 2011/12 season he scored 20 goals in 29 games and was the third-best goalscorer in the league behind Andreas Buger and Hannes Stangl.
For the 2012/13 season he switched to the amateurs of SKN St. Pölten. In March 2013 he made his debut for the professionals from St. Pölten in the second division when he was brought into play on the 21st match day of that season against Kapfenberger SV in the 37th minute for Gorka Unda . This was his only mission for the SKN professionals.
With the SKN St. Pölten Juniors he was promoted to the regional league in 2014. In the 2013/14 promotion season he scored 15 goals in 23 games, making him the club's second-best goalscorer behind Michael Drga .
For the 2015/16 season, Zahuranec moved to the fourth-class SC Retz . During that season he played 23 games in the national league and scored eleven goals. After the end of the season he left the club. Then he did not move to any other club and ended his career.
