Martina Oertzen , b. Martina Jobmann (* 6. May 1964 ) is a German local politician ( CDU ) and current, full-time mayor of the municipality of Seevetal .

Life

Martina Oertzen grew up in Ramelsloh . She has lived in Ohlendorf since 1990 . Martina Oertzen is a trained banker and was an authorized signatory in the area of human resources and personnel development (PE).

Martina Oertzen has been a CDU member since 1995. She has been a member of the local council since 1996 and served as local mayor of Ramelsloh / Ohlendorf and Holtorfsloh until the mayoral election in 2013 . In the local council she campaigned for the compatibility of family and work and the expansion of childcare . Since 2001 she has also sat in the Harburg district assembly . There she was Chair of the Committee for School / Sport / Culture and member of the Building and Planning Committee. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Sparkasse Harburg-Buxtehude since 2006 , where she works on the credit committee . Since the same year was Martina Oertzen member council Seevetal. There she was involved in the Administrative Committee (VA), the Construction Committee and the Environment and Planning Committee.

In the election of the mayor on September 22, 2013, which took place parallel to the 2013 federal election , Martina Oertzen received 12,583 votes (48.5%) in the first ballot, with 34,452 eligible voters and a voter turnout of 76.2%. Compared to the election result of 2005, this corresponds to an increase of 6.8%. Then there was a runoff election on October 6, 2013 between her and Ulrich Sauck ( SPD ), who was in second place . In the runoff election, Martina Oertzen received 59.7% of the vote and Ulrich Sauck 40.3%. The turnout in the second ballot was 43.2%.

The handover of official business from the previous mayor Günter Schwarz (SPD) to Martina Oertzen took place in the course of October 9, 2013.
