Mary Harvey (* 4. June 1965 in Palo Alto , California ) is a former American football player and - functionary .
Career
societies
Harvey played during her studies at the University of California, Berkeley for the university team there, the California Golden Bears . From 1990 to 1992 she was in the squad of FSV Frankfurt , with which she won the DFB Cup in 1990 . In the mid-1990s she played for the Swedish club Tyresö FF .
National team
Harvey made his debut for the US national team in 1989 and won the gold medal with it at the 1991 World Cup . At the 1995 World Cup , which the USA finished in third place, she remained as well as the triumph at the 1996 Summer Olympics without a tournament appearance. Harvey ended her international career in 1996.
Functionary activity
After the end of her active career, Harvey worked in various roles for the US Football Association and FIFA . From 2008 to 2010 she was COO of the women's football league WPS .
