Masilonyana ( English Masilonyana Local Municipality ) is a local municipality in the Lejweleputswa District , Free State Province , South Africa . The administrative headquarters are in Theunissen . Nontsizi Moshana is the mayor.

The community name is derived from the Sesotho word for the mountains in the community.

The population increased in five years from 59,895 (2011 census) to 62,770 (2016).
