Maskinongé is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .

It is located in the administrative region of Mauricie and consists of 17 subordinate administrative units (one city, nine municipalities and seven districts). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1982. The main town is Louiseville . The population is 36,549 and the area is 2380.1 km², which corresponds to a population density of 15.4 inhabitants per km².
