Massimo Pini
Massimo Pini (born November 29, 1936 in Sorengo ; † June 18, 2003 in Biasca ) was a Swiss politician .
Life
Massimo Pini was the son of the politician Aleardo Pini and married three times. He studied at the University of Geneva and the University of Lausanne , where he was a member of the Swiss Zofinger Association . From 1964 to 1968 he was council in Locarno , 1976-79 Deputy Mayor of Gerra (Gambarogno) , from 1967 to 1983 in the Ticino cantonal parliament , 1979-99 National Council until 1996, he was part of the Free Democratic Party to, after the Swiss Democrats , finally the Freedom Party . From 1992 to 1996 he was mayor of Biasca.
As a federalist and European advocate, he was a member of the Swiss delegation to the Council of Europe from 1984 to 1995 .
