Massing is a village and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Krieglach in Styria.

The scattered settlement is located north of Krieglach in the Massinggraben , which is traversed by the Massingbach and consists of the numerous individual layers along the trench. Massing was incorporated into Krieglach in 1864.

history

The earliest written record is from 1280-1295 and is "Masnich". The name goes back to old Slavic * močidlo ( flax roast ).
