Matey Ullah (born February 20, 1981 ) is a Norwegian pool player .

Career

In 2006 Matey Ullah won his first medals at the Norwegian Championship . He was third in 9-ball and after a final defeat against Roger Lysholm runner-up in 8-ball . In 2009 he took third place in the 8-ball. In February 2011, he moved into the finals of a Euro Tour tournament for the first time at the French Open . In the quarterfinals he was defeated by the eventual tournament winner Ralf Souquet 7: 9. In 2011 and 2012 he lost the final of the Norwegian 8-ball championship against Kristoffer Mindrebøe . In 2012 he became Norwegian champion in the 14/1 discipline by beating Malvin Bjelland in the final . At the European Championships 2012 Ullah reached the round of 32 endlessly with a 14/1. In the 10-ball competition he made it to the round of 16 and was eliminated 7: 8 against the Russian Vitaly Pawluchin . At the EM 2013 he reached the round of 64 in the disciplines 14/1 endless and 10-ball. At the Norwegian 8-ball championship in 2013 he was third. In the 9-ball World Cup 2015 , he moved to victories against Rajan Dran Nair and Zhu Xihe and a 6: 9 loss to eventual champion Ko Pin-yi in the Round of 64 one in which he was the Greeks Nikos Ekonomopoulos with 7:11 had to give up.

With the Norwegian national team, Ullah was fifth in the 2012 European Championship. At the Team World Cup he was part of the Norwegian team in 2012 and reached the round of 16 with them.
