Witali Igorewitsch Pawlukhin ( Russian Виталий Игоревич Павлухин ; English transcription: Vitaly Pavlukhin ; born February 15, 1995 ) is a Russian pool player .

Career

In November 2010, Pavluchin won his first medal in the Russian men's championship . He reached the final of the 8-ball competition, but lost 7-1 to Roman Prutschai . In August 2011 he won the final against Tian Zhang and Joshua Filler and became a European student champion in the 10-ball and 8-ball disciplines, as well as a runner-up European champion in 14/1 . With the Russian student team, with which he had won the bronze medal in the previous two years, he became vice European champion in 2011. At the Junior World Championship in 2011 he was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Konrad Piekarski . In November 2011 he became the Russian 8-ball champion with a 6-4 win against Konstantin Stepanow . In the subsequent 9-ball competition, he lost the final 9-0 to Stepanow.

In 2012, Pawluchin was nominated for the men's European Championship for the first time . After defeating Jaroslav Polach , Matey Ullah and Manuel Ederer , among others , he reached the semi-finals in the 10-ball competition of the EM , in which he was defeated by defending champion Stephan Cohen 7: 8. At the Junior European Championship in 2012 he won bronze in 14/1 endlessly and silver with the team. In 2016 he won the bronze medal in 9-ball and in 2017 after a semi-final defeat against Andrei Seroshtan bronze in 10-ball.

At the World Cup of Pool 2012 , Pavluchin and Konstantin Stepanow formed the Russian team that was eliminated in the first round against the Japanese Naoyuki Ōi and Satoshi Kawabata .

With the Russian national team he finished third in 2013.
