Mathias Obermüller

Mathias Obermüller (born November 16, 1787 in Freising ; † August 8, 1855 in Munich ) was a Bavarian lawyer and politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in Munich in 1806 , Obermüller studied law at the University of Landshut from 1808 to 1812 . In 1824 he became an assessor at the Bavarian alternate court, and in 1828 a judge in Munich. In 1833 he moved to the Landshut Court of Appeal and in 1839 to the Higher Appeal Court in Munich. In 1847 Obermüller was promoted to appellate court director and initially worked in Passau .

From May 18, 1848 to May 7, 1849 Obermüller represented the 9th Lower Bavarian constituency ( Viechtach ) in the Frankfurt National Assembly . There he belonged to the conservative Café Milani faction .

In 1849 Obermüller moved to Freising, and in 1852 he became director of the higher appeal court in Munich.
