Matthias and Maxime have been best friends since childhood. When asked to kiss to shoot a student short film, it has unexpected consequences. Both have to become aware of their feelings and their social environment reacts differently to the filmed intimacy. The kiss in front of the camera finally begins to change Mattias' and Maxim's lives forever.

The film premiered on May 22, 2019 as part of the Cannes International Film Festival and is expected to hit Canadian cinemas later this year. In August 2019 it was presented at the Melbourne International Film Festival. At the beginning of October 2019 it was shown at the London Film Festival , then at the Film Festival Cologne . A theatrical release in Germany is planned for September 17, 2020.
