Matthias Euba (born November 3, 1967 in Munich ) is a German journalist , television presenter and voice actor in Austria .

Life

He studied political science at the University of Vienna and worked at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Growth Research as a research assistant.

In 1995 he came to ORF (Österreichischer Rundfunk), where he worked as an author , producer and director for the information programs for the children's program (first Mini-ZiB , later Confetti News ). In 2002 he switched to the ORF newsroom through a casting, where he played a major role in the creation of the short messages (“Newsflash”) and later the ZIB 20. Until 2013 he moderated the news programs ZIB Flash , ZIB 20 and occasionally the ZIB 24 on ORF eins . Since autumn 2012 he has been presenting the science magazine Newton . He also works as a program planner and head of the news broadcast service in ORF eins and synchronizes documentaries and reports for television.
