Matthias Klotz (painter)
Matthias Klotz (born February 25, 1748 in Strasbourg ; † March 21, 1821 ) was a German stage painter and lithographer .
He worked as an electoral court and theater painter in Munich . In addition, he developed his own color theory . He was the father of the set designer Joseph Klotz (1785-1830).
