Matthias Schömann
Matthias Schömann (born October 14, 1960 ) is a former German soccer player .
career
With SV Leiwen , Schömann became Rhineland champions in 1981 and thus qualified for the first main round of the DFB Cup 1981/82 . On August 29, 1981 he won with Leiwen the home game against SC Herford 3-2 after extra time. In the second round, the cup game with defender Schömann was lost on October 9, 1981 in the away game at Rot-Weiss Essen with their top performers Matthias Herget and Gregor Grillemeier 1: 4. For the 1983/84 season he joined the FSV Salmrohr .
With the team of President Peter Rauen , he celebrated the championship in the amateur Oberliga Südwest in 1985 and in 1986, after the runner-up, promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.
The 1.78 m tall defender played 27 games for FSV Salmrohr in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1986/87 season . Salmrohr got down to the amateur camp again at the end of the round. In 1990 Schömann won the German amateur soccer championship with Salmrohr .
Until June 30, 2007 Matthias Schömann worked as a coach at the district league club SV Mehring , after which he switched to the SV Leiwen team.
