Matthias Stingl (born February 27, 1998 in Deggendorf ) is a German soccer player .

Career

society

After starting out in the youth teams of SV Winzer , FC Vilshofen and SpVgg Grün-Weiß Deggendorf , he moved to the youth department of FC Bayern Munich in summer 2012 . At the end of the 2016/17 season, he and his team were in the final of the German A-Junior Championship and only lost to Borussia Dortmund on penalties . In summer 2017 he moved to SC Paderborn 07 . There he was mainly used in the U21 team in the Oberliga Westfalen. He also made his first professional appearance when he came on as a substitute for Christopher Antwi-Adjej in the 81st minute in a 2-1 win in the home game against Hansa Rostock on September 22, 2017 (matchday 10) . In the summer of 2018 he moved to Wacker Burghausen in the Bavarian Regional League . After two seasons, he joined in the summer of 2020 at the University of Massachusetts Lowell to there College Soccer to play.

National team

In 2013, Stingl played a total of three games for the German U15 and U16 national teams.
