The Matzbach is an approximately one and third kilometer long left and southeast tributary of the Hollerbach .

The Matzbach rises in the Odenwald at an altitude of about 304  m above sea level. NN south of Brensbach - Höllerbach on the southern slope of the Spitzrnberg ( 328.4  m above sea level ). It flows in a westerly direction through fields and meadows and finally flows out at an altitude of about 191  m above sea level. NN east of Brensbach (south of Breubergstrasse ) in the Hollerbach .
