The Brensbach is a good five kilometers long right and southeast tributary of the Gersprenz .

The Brensbach rises at an altitude of about 335 m above sea level. NHN in the Odenwald southwest of Ballerts ( 375.9 m above sea level ).
It flows through Wallbach and finally flows into Brensbach at an altitude of about 172 m above sea level. NHN from the right into the Gersprenz.
Its 5.2 km long run ends about 163 meters below its source, so it has an average bottom gradient of about 31 ‰.
Catchment area
The 11 km² catchment area of the Brensbach lies in the Vorderen Odenwald and the Reinheimer Hügelland . It is drained over the Mümling, the Main and the Rhine to the North Sea.
