Maureen Denise McCormick (born August 5, 1956 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

McCormick won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest as a six-year-old , after which she appeared in television commercials and numerous television series. Among other things, she was seen in two episodes of the television series In Love with a Witch in 1964 and 1965 . From 1969 to 1974 she appeared as Marcia Brady in 117 episodes of the television series Three Girls and Three Boys , 40 episodes were not shown by ZDF. For this role she was subsequently nominated for the TV Land Award in 2005 and 2007 ; in 2007 she received the Pop Culture Award together with the other participants .

The first role in a feature film took McCormick on the side of John Savage and Kathleen Quinlan in the television drama The Turning Point of Jim Malloy from 1975. In the Western Pony Express Rider (1976) she played one of the larger roles; She also played major roles in the drama Take Down (1979), in the comedy Skatetown, USA (1979) and in the action film Texas Lightning (1981). She starred in the drama Dogtown (1997) alongside Trevor St. John and Mary Stuart Masterson .

From February 1 to March 2, 2015, McCormick was a participant in the Australian reality show I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and took fourth place.

McCormick has been married to actor Michael Cummings since 1985 and has a daughter born in 1989.
