Maurice van Beek (* 28. June 1967 in Bonn as Manfred van Beek ) is a German music producer, songwriter and lyricist.

Life

As a music producer, songwriter and lyricist van Beek wrote for Roland Kaiser , Andrea Jürgens , Olaf Henning , bata illic , Ireen Sheer , Géraldine Olivier , Colör , Thorsten Kremer and other artists of the German popular music . As a freelance producer, he works for Jack White , Hans R. Beierlein , Montana-Media, Sony-BMG , WhiteRecords, Universal, Kochmusic and TELAMO, among others. As a composer he created a. a. with Robert Jung, Wolfgang Hofer , Bernd opinion , Tobias Reitz u. a. various works in the field of popular music. He composed the instrumental title "ONEten" for the world premiere of the Toyota Formula 1 racing car and discovered the German voice in 2003 as a talent scout.

From 2004 to 2007 van Beek produced Bata Illic. In February 2006 he wrote and produced the comeback album by Swiss artist Géraldine Olivier "Experience Love". With the lyricist Wolfgang Hofer he created a pop album for Olivier. In January 2008 Maurice van Beek wrote and produced the studio album "Herzgeschichten" by Bata Illic. From 2014 to July 2016 he was producer and manager Andrea Jürgens. With Oliver Haidt he had a No. 1 hit in Austria in 2015.

Maurice van Beek is the author and producer of the audio book "Ruhrpottkind" by Andrea Jürgens.
