Maurits Kjærgaard (born June 26, 2003 ) is a Danish football player .

Career

society

Kjærgaard started his career at Lyngby BK . For the 2019/20 season he moved to Austria for FC Red Bull Salzburg , where he received a contract that ran until June 2022. Initially, however, he should be used for the second-rate farm team FC Liefering .

In August 2019 he made his debut for Liefering in the 2nd division when he came on as a substitute for Jung-Min Kim on the fourth match day of that season against SV Horn in the 64th minute .

National team

Kjærgaard played for a Danish youth national team for the first time in September 2018. In March 2019 he made his debut against France for the U-17 selection .

Personal

His brother Oliver (* 1998) is also a soccer player.
