The Mausbach is a brook that rises south of the Stolberg district of Mausbach in the Aachen city region in the Horstbend-Mausbachquelle nature reserve . It flows along the "Kurt-Schumacher-Straße" in a south-westerly direction, only to pour into the Vichtbach after a few 100 meters at Vicht-Breinigerberg . He passes a small sewage treatment plant and the Lohmühle estate.
