from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mausio (bourgeois Claudio Mikulski ) is a German music producer and DJ who is under contract with the major label Warner Music and is best known for his exuberant live performances. His style of music can be described as a mixture of techno, hip-hop , dubstep and psytrance , whereby he himself describes the genre he has created as future techno .

Career

Until then , Mikulski, who had been mainly influenced by German-language hip-hop , first came into contact with electronic music when he heard Skrillex 's song Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites . After graduating from school at the age of 16, he began producing his own music using the FL Studio digital audio workstation and making it available to his friends on Facebook and Soundcloud . After training as an industrial clerk, he released his debut album Censored and the self-titled Mausio EP in 2017 . The latter also contains the title Krustenf! Cker , which consists of remixed quotes from the film Hautnah and which was his most successful song to date, with several million views on YouTube and Spotify . Good sales and streaming figures, also due to his subsequent single Through The Night , as well as a growing fan base led to some appearances as headliners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the following months and years , for example at the Parookaville , Airbeat One and Ikarus Festival and New Horizons or in popular trendy clubs such as the Boathouse in Cologne .

In January 2020, Mausio signed a contract with the major label Warner Music .
