Max Bing
Max Bing (born March 15, 1885 in Dresden , † February 7, 1945 in Jauernig ) was a German actor and radio play director.
Life
Bing received his first engagement in 1903 at the Ducal Court Theater in Meiningen . He then played in Düsseldorf , Vienna , Brno , Stuttgart and Berlin, among others . During his time in Vienna in 1911 he took part in the two early Austrian silent film dramas Die Glückspuppe and Der Müller und seine Kind . After that he was only sporadically in front of the camera in Germany. On October 10, 1917, he was awarded the Charlottenkreuz .
From 1927 he focused in by this time in his work as a director and reciter empire broadcasting company integrated radio-hour Berlin , where he, among others, 1930 The story of Franz Biberkopf with Heinrich George staged in the lead role , which is considered to be one of the first fully preserved radio play productions .
On October 1, 1942, Bing took up a new position as artistic director of the youth department of the Tobis film company .
