Max Emanuel (born August 26, 1994 in Schkeuditz ) is a German handball player .

Career

Max Emanuel started playing handball as a child. From 1999 to 2010 he played in the youth teams of 1. SV Concordia Delitzsch . He spent the next two years there through the youth project handball academy Leipzig / Delitzsch. From the 2012/13 season, the 1.89 meter tall backcourt player played for SC DHfK Leipzig in the 2nd handball Bundesliga . In summer 2015 he moved to the second division club SG BBM Bietigheim . With Bietigheim he rose to the Bundesliga in 2018. For the 2020/21 season he moved to the Dessau-Roßlauer AGM .

Emanuel is a member of the youth national team, for which he has scored 181 goals in 53 international matches . With the national team he won the U-18 European Championship in 2012 , in the U-19 World Cup in 2013 , the bronze medal at the U-20 Handball Championship Men 2014 the gold medal and in the U-21 World Handball Championship in 2015 , the Bronze medal.

His father Kai Emanuel is a local politician and since August 1, 2015 District Administrator of North Saxony .
