Max Fremerey
Max Fremerey (born May 5, 1889 in Cologne , † September 20, 1968 in Krün , Upper Bavaria ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general in World War II .
Life
Fremerey served as an officer in the First World War . After the war he switched to the Reichswehr and worked as a commander in various units. In the Wehrmacht he led the 29th Infantry Division , the 155th Panzer Division and the 233rd Panzer Division as commander until the end of the war.
