Max Jäger (politician, 1886)
Max Jäger (born October 2, 1886 in Rastatt ; † July 13, 1955 there ) was a German administrative officer and politician ( CDU ).
Life
Jäger was director of the Rothaus brewery in Grafenhausen from 1920 to 1933 . From 1945 to 1948 he worked as a government director in the Ministry of Finance of the State of Baden , based in Freiburg im Breisgau .
He joined the CDU after 1945 and served as Lord Mayor of Rastatt from 1949 until his death . In 1952 he was elected to the constitutional state assembly of Baden-Württemberg and from 1953 until his death he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . For him, moved Paula Doell by the parliament.
Max Jäger died of a heart attack on July 13, 1955. He was buried in the Rastatt city cemetery.
Honors
- A secondary school opened in Rastatt in 1956 , the construction of which Max Jäger had promoted, was named Max Jäger School. It was closed in the summer of 2009.
