Max Muller III

Max Müller III (born September 4, 1904 in Hanover ; † January 16, 1987 there ) was a German entrepreneur and engineer.

Career

Max Müller III started school at the upper secondary school at the Luther Church at Easter 1911, which later became the Lutherschule Hannover . After graduating from high school (1923), he completed practical training at the Wohlenberg company . From 1923 he studied at the Technical University of Stuttgart (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) and completed his studies in 1928 with the diploma exam at the Technical University of Hanover . In 1929 he drove from Bremen to New York and from there on to Cincinnati, where he worked, among other things, at “Worthington Pump & Machinery Corporation” and “Cincinnati Centerless Grinder Co.”.

After his return from the USA in May 1930, he joined the family of his father Max (imilian) Müller II (* August 4, 1873 in Altona; † June 15, 1952 in Steinhude), after inheritance disputes with his brother Gustav Müller (1877– 1943) around the »Max Müller machine and mold factory« founded by her father Max (imilian) Müller I (born January 17, 1850 in Berlin; † January 14, 1912) on January 30, 1889, and » Max H. Müller Brinker Eisenwerk Hannover-Brink «based in Hannover-Hainholz, which worked mainly for the Reichsbahn. From 1936 the company also worked for the air force and the navy . In autumn 1938 Müller passed the test for the group A2 license. On June 15, 1941, he received his doctorate in engineering. From 1943 he worked in the management of the Brinker Eisenwerk. In addition to managing the company, he took on various honorary positions in economic and social policy committees.

Max Müller III was the son of the engineer Maximilian Müller ("Max Müller II", born August 4, 1873 in Altona ; † June 15, 1952 in Hanover). He was married to Irmgard Werner, daughter of the manufacturer Hans Werner . He was the father of Max Müller IV (born May 6, 1935 in Hanover).

His sister Lotte Müller (* 1905, † 1991) was married to General der Flakartillerie Heinrich Burchard (* 1899, † 1945)

The family grave is located in the New St. Nikolai Cemetery in Hanover.
