Max Näder

Max Näder (born June 24, 1915 in Oberweißbach ; † July 24, 2009 in Duderstadt ) was a German entrepreneur in the field of orthopedics .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1935, he began training with Otto Bock as a businessman and orthopedic mechanic. During his training he began studying at the TH Berlin , which he was unable to complete due to the Second World War . In 1943 he married the daughter Maria of the company founder Otto Bock. After returning from British captivity, he founded Otto Bock Orthopädische Industrie GmbH in Duderstadt on October 21, 1947 , as the company had been expropriated from its previous Thuringian headquarters in Königsee . He managed it until 1990 when he handed the management over to his only son, Hans Georg Näder (* 1961).

He died on July 24, 2009 at the age of 94 and was buried on July 31, 2009 in Duderstadt next to his wife Maria († 2005).
