Maxim Roy (born March 7, 1972 in Rigaud , Québec ) is a Canadian actress and film producer .

life and career

Maxim Roy grew up with her three brothers on a farm outside of Montreal .

In the early 1990s, Roy began her acting career, initially with guest appearances in television series and films , before she got the lead role in the 13-part Canadian series Au nom du père et du fils in 1993 . Further film and television programs followed, but mostly in smaller roles. In the mid-1990s she played the “motorcycle bride” Marie-Claude Roy in Virginie , a popular Canadian series that earned her some reputation.
