Maximilian Hammerle (born June 25, 1993 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian triathlete .
Career
As a teenager, Maximilian Hammerle was active in athletics before switching to cycling in 2016. In 2017 he started on the Tour of Austria .
He has been active as a triathlete since 2018. He lives in Lauterach and is trained by Jan Wolfgarten .
At Ironman Austria , the 26-year-old finished tenth in his first start on the Ironman distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running) in July 2019.
In September he finished second at Ironman Wales after 8:57 hours.
