Maximilian Kappler (born October 1, 1997 in Lichtenstein / Sa. ) Is a German motorcycle racer .

Career

Maximilian Kappler started his career in 2003 in the ADAC Pocket Bike Cup . In 2006 Kappler won the German championship title in the junior cup, at the same time he was third in the European championship. Also in 2007 and 2008 Kappler started with pocket bikes in the European championship and in the German school championship, where he was again champion. For the 2009 season, the Saxon switched to the ADAC Mini Bike Cup , where he also competed in 2010. On the side his way led to Spain, in the Banjaca Cup of the legend Jorge Martínez . In 2011 he finished the ADAC Junior Cup in 8th place as the best rookie .

In 2012 Kappler competed in the Moto3 class of the German road championship for the first time, and in 2013 he secured the German championship title in this class with Racing Team Germany on FTR - Honda . In the following years, the Saxon dared the leap into the Moto3 class of the Spanish motorcycle road championship , which he finished twice in 33rd place and once in 24th. From 2014 to 2016, Kappler also competed in four Moto3 races of the motorcycle world championship , but did not score any points.

Since 2018 Kappler has been competing in the Supersport 300 World Championship for the Freudenberg team on KTM .
