Maximilian Reiser

Maximilian Ferdinand Reiser (born August 10, 1948 ) is a German radiologist .

Life

From 1993 to 2017, Reiser was Director of the Institute for Clinical Radiology at the University of Munich Hospital . From 2008 to 2015 he was also Dean of the Medical Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

He was President of the German Radiology Society (2005–2007), the European Congress of Radiology (2008) and the European Society of Radiology (2010–2011).

From 1992 to 2005 he was co-editor and from 2005 to 2013 editor-in-chief of the journal Der Radiologe . From 2014 to 2017 he was editor-in-chief of the journal European Radiology .
